This is probably one of the most used spaces in our home. We absolutely love the windows and views from up here and all furnishings are very family friendly and have held up very well. Our oldest loves to use the desk nook for building and detail play but it will evolve into a great place to study and do homework. The shiplap I put in this space was home delivery and primed MDF (highly recommend). We use the fan very frequently as heat tends to rise to this space and we have a few functioning windows which helps create a cross breeze. The sofa is a pull out bed and it has been a great way to have extra sleeping space and the kids love to open it up to watch a movie.
